This site is currently primarily devoted to the Samuel Boggs (my grandfather)  lineage (development seems to have peaked due to family past responses and  limited added information at this time).  Effort is being shifted toward the   William S. Vanover lineage since this would also be my grandfather on my  mother's side.  Depending on how the site develops and participants by  relatives and their input, the focus can shift.

The site first began documentation in Wise/Dickinson Counties, Virginia after  review of "The Boggs" written by Virgil L Patterson, (no publication date  listed) and "The Vanover Family" written by Gregory Lynn Vanover, P. O. Box  628, Pound Virginia 24279.  Like all genealogical (however this one remains  private to the family in the near term at least) sites, this one also remains  under construction.
